- 2 tomato pureed
- 2 tbsp desi ghee
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/4 tsp gram masala

- 2 big chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup desi ghee
- 3/4 cup boiled chickpea/Garbanzo beans
- 1 big boiled potato
- 2 chopped green chilly
- 2 " crushed ginger
- to taste White and black salt
- 1 tbsp degi red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp Chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp aamchur powder
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1/2 cup small size namakpare
- 1 lemon
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/8 tsp asafoetodia
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Steps to make to make Banarsi Tamatar Chaat
- How's make sweet and sour Tamater shorba/syrup :: Heat desi ghee in a wok on high flame add cumin seeds when it cracked, add tomato puree and cook for a minute on the recession flame. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Continuously stir till it turns into thick form and starts leave the ghee, sides of the wok. Now mix 2 cup of water, cook it for 2 minutes. Turn off the gas. Stir continuously on low flame for 5 minutes until turns into thick form and starts leave the ghee, sides of the wok. Turn off the gas.
- Tamater Chaat is ready to serve. This tasty Chaat serves in KULHAD/Claypot. How's to serve :: Take a KULHAD, pour a full of tbsp Tava tamater mixture. Then add in lemon juice,coriander leaves & 1 full of Tamater shorba/syrup in it.
